A night of bright lights, talented designers, and hope for the cure will be all under one roof! Designers are challenged to present a collection or design that shows a mastered technique of sewing and the ability to put together a cohesive collection that defines them as a designer. All in hopes to claim the title of the I Am Fashion challenge winner of 2015.
The I Am Fashion Event has teamed up with the Dallas Chapter of the American Cancer Society to shed light on hope for the cure as well as donate a portion of the proceeds from the event. Reps from the American Cancer Society will be in attendance as special guest speakers during the show. We are anticipating a packed house, amazing vendors, and awesome surprises during the show! We expect to set the bar high for years to come. So don’t miss out be apart of an amazing experience never seen like this before!
This special event will feature the season’s trendiest collections for men, women and children. Located in Hall D of the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center.

Almora, the Perfect Storm: Program in Fashion and Textiles at Texas Woman’s University presents it Annual Montage Runway Fashion Show of student designs at the Margo Jones Performance Hall on the Denton Campus at 8:00 PM on Friday, May 1, 2015.
Storms are brewing at Texas Woman’s University’s Margo Jones Hall, where a heavy rain of senior creativity and design is to be anticipated. Come join us this spring as Texas Woman’s University Programs in Fashion and Textiles presents Almora: The Perfect Storm. The event will showcase Senior Design student’s fashion apparel collections from fall and spring with a burst of colors and categories ranging from ready-to-wear to evening wear. Almora will be held in the Margo Jones Performance Hall on the Texas Woman’s University Denton campus Friday May 1, 2015. Doors will open at 7:15 pm. Upon arrival, guests can come and enjoy refreshments, view senior portfolio’s, and participate in bidding on silent auction items to help fund the evening’s event.
Parking is complimentary and lots are available across Oakland Street from the Performance Hall.
This holiday season, we’re amping up the power of the ‘give back’ with a very unique voice. The REAL WOMEN of Elisia Magazine are hosting a fashion show where they will strut the runway with 10 young ladies from the Notre Dame School of Dallas, a great school for children and young adults with special needs. Love Lee’s Boutique will be at Pickles on Saturday, December 6th to display some of their new and unique boutique pieces. Love Lee’s always has great boutique items without the boutique prices. Proceeds from this event will go to the North Tarrant Food Bank.
