TWU Announces the 2016 Annual Montage Senior Fashion Show!

Come explore a captivating night filled with innovative fashions at TWU! The Annual Montage Senior Fashion Show TIMELESS: Witness the Discovery will be presented Friday, May 6th, at Margo Jones Performance Hall in Denton, TX. Doors open at 7:15 p.m. with the journey beginning at 8:00 p.m. Join Texas Woman’s University for a glimpse of fashion exploration, celebration and reception.

10th Annual Fashion CITED “Spy on Fashion” Show

Agents have been briefed and surveillance is complete. Come “spy” some fashion and have a little fun as eighteen of Dallas’ brightest designers create a “spy”tastic show for the 10th anniversary celebration of FashionCITED!

The FashionCITED fundraiser started as a “thank you” to LHT from one of its clients. Ten years later, FashionCITED has become the “BIGGEST little fashion show” in Dallas!

All proceeds benefit the clients of Legal Hospice of Texas. Legal Hospice is a nonprofit law firm that provides timely, compassionate legal services, at no cost, to those who are terminally ill or living with HIV disease in the DFW area.

SMU Fashion Week

SMU arts and business students will present the fifth annual SMU Fashion Week, April 20-22. The event will feature lectures by prominent fashion journalists/authors Hillary Kerr and Kate Betts along with the annual spring fashion show, which this year will include clothing and accessories from luxury retailer Stanley Korshak and upscale consignment store Luxury Garage Sale.

Fashion Week events are free and open to the public.

2016 Runway of Hope Fashion Fundraiser

Vibrant fashions and advocates are set to grace the runway at the 3rd Runway of Hope Fashion Fundraiser. The stage is set to honor their leadership, dedication and outstanding service of advocacy in helping to provide assistance to the sexual assault community.

The Runway of Hope Fashion Fundraiser is an annual event held in April in honor of sexual assault awareness month (SAAM). Dress up and join ARISE! for an inspiring event intended to entertain and educate the community through fun, fashion and empowerment.

Funds raised will enable us to continue our mission in the community by providing support and recovery services for female survivors of sexual violence. We provide a safe environment for clients to begin the healing process.

Glossy Girls Walk The Runway

Destinee Duncan, an actress and fashion designer from McKinney, Texas will debut her Winter Ice 2016 Collection from her kids/junior clothing line Glossy Girls.

The Glossy Girls Walk the Runway Dallas Event is an annual runway show promoting youth empowerment along with featuring designers from all over. The launch of this event premiered in Flint, Michigan in 2015. Destinee is honored to bring the premier event to Dallas to help promote youth from all over while raising money and awareness of the water crisis in her hometown.

Destinee has been creating and sketching fashion designs since she was only 8 years old. In 2014, she became the youngest fashion designer to appear at Austin Fashion Week with her Glossy Girls designs. Destinee Glossy Girls line has graced the runway at Atlanta Fashion Week, Fire & Ice Runway Show, Fashion Week Dallas Premier Show, NOLA Fashion Week, Fashion X Dallas, and Dallas Teen Fashion Week where she was also presented with the Young Talented & Gifted Award.

The Arc of Fashion

Andrea Patrick, a Blogger & “Personal Branding Stylist” in North Dallas originated an idea two years ago for a fundraiser that has a fashion theme whose purpose of this event is to raise awareness and money for The Arc of Dallas. However, this will not be your typical fashion show; this year’s show will double as a fashion design student competition. Fourteen fashion design schools from Texas and surrounding states have been invited to participate.
